Ha Ha.... It is a euphemism for attempting to fix something that is unfix-able, giving your task the appearance of doing something productive.... when we all know what the outcome will be, Crash!! :)
AI wrote this - even when it didn’t is a scary thought. I mean we focus so much on clear and meaningful paragraphs as writers, all to then lose credibility because it sounds like AI wrote it? I didn’t consider this aspect before. Glad you brought it up. This article is going into my article recommendations section in this week’s newsletter! And getting restacked
I use a lot of these. When I was learning SEO years ago, I was told it’s good to have first, second, third type phrasing. I think AI is just picking up on what’s already out there and what’s already out there are these phrases that humans put out there. lol
I came here to comment because, ironically, even though I rarely use it, yesterday I had the AUDACITY to use the phrase "game-changer" throughout my post about unmasking after my ADHD diagnosis two years ago. 😱
Then I saw your comment and just had to reply with an emphatic yes. It is tiresome. 🙌
Yes,never mind if we are honest,some of these phrases are commonly used if you or your work is in areas like communication, leadership, or transformation. Add being neurodivergent on top like a cherry to a hot fudge sundae, punishes us for being intentional with our word choices.

Haha this only hurts those of us whose conversations are transformational and neurodivergent.
Because unmask is what we do continuously after being conditioned our whole lives.
Because I speak to change, communication and leadership, it is a fast paced fucking world lol.
I could go on but it is tiresome. So now I have to change phrases I naturally use all because AI dishes them out to others. Yea me.
